Policy Work
Much of my work is applied — oriented towards changing policy.
Below are a few of the efforts I've contributed to that are aimed at a policy audience.

Carbon Management Policy
I've worked for the federal government twice — once for the Department of State's Office of the Geographer and Global Issues, during the Obama administration, and later for the Department of Energy's Office of Carbon Management during the Biden administration. This was focused on public engagement with carbon management, including policy to ensure benefit and minimize harms from carbon capture and carbon removal projects.
Because engagement and community benefits are no longer a focus of the US government, and it is likely the things we learned will be lost, I am archiving some documents from that time here.
